The Stratton Memorial Poker Run initially began several years ago after a motorcycle accident claimed the lives of two dedicated Marion citizens, Roger and Ardis Stratton. Through this event, the Marion Area Community Club has been able to purchase additional playground equipment for Marion Park, along with helping fund other community projects.
